Back to work

A café that reads neighborhood and on-the-go in the same breath.

Modo needed an identity that held two ideas at once: a warm, local café worth sitting in, and a modern coffee brand built for the takeaway cup in someone's hand on the subway. The solution was a soft, confident wordmark paired with a chocolate, cream, and sky-blue palette — grounded enough to feel human, clean enough to work at 3 inches on a cup sleeve.

The system extends across packaging, apparel, menus, and signage so the brand behaves consistently whether you see it on a bean pouch at home or on a barista's apron mid-pour.
